On April 28, California Environmental Voters hosted its annual Badass In Green Awards to celebrate leaders and innovators in the climate justice movement.

This year, we were proud to recognize our four honorees, who are all, in different ways, working to solve the climate crisis and lead the fight for the future: 15-year-old environmental and animal rights activist Genesis Butler, Southern California Edison executive Caroline Choi, Don’t Look Up writer, director, and producer Adam McKay, and Northern Chumash Tribal Council Chairwoman Violet Sage Walker.
