California Legislators Show Their Support for The American Jobs Plan!

With the country grappling with the current economic and climate crises, investments in climate action and restorative justice must be part of the solution.

The Biden administration recently released the American Jobs Plan, the White House infrastructure plan. This would be a once-in-a-century capital investment to not only meet our country’s current infrastructure needs that have been exacerbated by the public health and climate crises, but to also invest in research and development of our country’s economy through a climate change and racial equity lens.

Supporters of the American Job Plans include California’s very own Senator Alex Padilla, Representative Katie Porter, Congressmember Mike Levin, Representative Pete Aguilar, and more. This just proves once again the importance of elections and what can be accomplished with the bold leadership at the helm.

EnviroVoters is proud to work with climate champions from California’s federal delegation in the fight for an equitable, clean energy future.
EnviroVoters organized 80 elected officials to sign on for the American Jobs Plan effort, including the Governor, the Lt Governor, and many more.

We also need you to join us in this fight: Watch Senator Padilla, Congressmember Levin, Representative Porter, Representative Aguilar, Representative Barragán, and Congressmember Huffman explain how with the American Jobs Plan, Americans don’t have to choose between a healthy environment and a healthy economy.
