We’re calling on Governor Newsom and state lawmakers to invest at least $75 billion over five years (just 5% of state spending) on climate solutions to protect our future.

We advocate in Sacramento, across the state, and in Washington, D.C. to expand access to democracy, take bold action on climate, and protect and enhance the land, air, water, and health of all our communities.

We cultivate environmental champions and win elections at every level of government. We recruit, train, and endorse bold, pro-environment candidates up and down the ballot who fight for climate justice and equity.

Learn the different ways to help resource and achieve our vision to solve the climate crisis, build resilient, connected, healthy communities, and create a democracy and economy that is just and sustainable for everyone.

California is no longer leading on climate change. California Environmental Voters assigned its first D grade (67%) to the state for its failure to boldly address the climate crisis in 2021.
